My love for photography started back in my early teens, aged 14 I was given a tank like Russian SLR, this was loaded with slide film and I used it to document a group expedition, while I was in the scouts that camera went everywhere, until the Shutter died.

I carried on with a new camera learning to develop and print my own film in a darkroom I built with my dad, in the attic of our house, then as my life got busy marriage, kids and work things took a back seat.

Then in the early 2000s when digital slrs became reasonably priced I jumped in again with this new freedom that digital gave.

Since then I kind of found a happy place using both film and digital and printing with an analogue process from the 1890s. Traveling in my camper van around the country slowing down and appreciating time, places, and the little details that are often missed. Trying to capture images that the viewer feels like they can almost be right there enjoying what I visualized as I pressed the shutter .
